Our Committee

The Thornbury Democratic Committee is an organization formed to represent Democrats living Thornbury, Delware County. The Thornbury Democratic Committee is one of the 39 municipal committees representing the 49 municipalities within Delaware County. The Delaware County Democratic Committee is one of 67 county committees that make up the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee, the governing body of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.

The committee members of the Thornbury Democratic Committee are dedicated to recruiting, supporting and electing Democrats to local offices. Committee members:

Support candidates for West Chester Area School board (Region 3), Thornbury Township Supervisor, and Magisterial District Judge in District Court 32-2-49. We may also support municipal candidates for Thornbury Tax Collector, Auditor, and Constable.
Create and distribute campaign materials and canvass, especially during local election years.
Help find volunteers to staff the polls in our municipalities.
